London Art Trail: Welcome

As part of the Year of the Bus celebrations organised by Transport for London in partnership with London Transport Museum and Wild in Art, the iconic London bus was brought to the streets of the city of London in a series of one-off public art trails. I am thrilled to have been part of this high profile event.

My bus 'Spectrum' was inspired by a triangular prism. The design reflects the spectrum of colours that are refracted inside a prism. There were four trails in total. My bus was part of the 'Around the River' Trail and it was on public display near Glaziers Hall, just a very short walk from the London Bridge.

Following the display, the buses were auctioned to raise funds for three charities: Kids Company, Transaid and London Transport Museum. Spectrum helped to raise an amazing £3,500 for charity.

You can read more about the event here.
